Hargroves Cycles was established in 1981 by Peter Hargroves. The first shop was located in Millbrook, Southampton and at the time was named Raymond Peters Cycles. This shop is still on the original site and is one of our busiest shops. In 1985 Peter Hargroves bought the company outright and the name was changed to Hargroves Cycles. Since then the Hargroves Cycles brand has grown to become the most recognised quality bike shop chain in the South of England. We now operate shops in Southampton, Winchester, Chichester, Fareham and most recently Swindon.
